The Artist

I’m Rochelle, an Australian artist creating original paintings inspired by atmosphere, movement and the quiet emotional weight of colour. My work often sits somewhere between realism and impressionism — less about capturing a perfect scene and more about capturing how a moment feels, the subtle mood, and the memory it leaves behind. I welcome commissions and personal requests, bringing warmth, personality, heart and playful curiosity to every piece.

The Practice

I work primarily with acrylics and mixed media, building layered compositions that explore light, texture, and shifting moods. Many of my pieces draw inspiration from nature — skies, waters, florals and organic forms — interpreted through an intuitive, expressive process rather than a rigid plan. Each artwork develops slowly and deliberately, allowing space for thoughtful adjustment so depth, contrast and balance can emerge naturally over time.

The Work

Each original piece is created with intention and offered as a true one-of-a-kind artwork. I also offer high-quality art prints to make my work more accessible while preserving the character and integrity of the original paintings.
